The Walrus and the Carpenter

by Fried Gold Theatre

Take a walk with Walrus and Carpenter as they battle to fill Mr. Walrus's giant stomach.
Be it ice cream, burgers or small dogs, Mr. Walrus is on a one-mammal mission to find himself  ‘a light snack’.
Meanwhile, Mr. Carpenter is busy nursing his giant, bubble-blowing, water-squirting oyster.
But Mr. Walrus has his hungry eye on her too…
Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s most popular poem, this walkabout offers a visual feast as well as bite-sized performances on the go. It is a must have on the menu for festivals, events and parades!

‘The Walrus and the Carpenter is a quality, strolling piece with beautiful costumes and entertaining banter, made by a promising new street arts company. The show worked really well at our family event and I look forward to seeing their next piece.’

— Claire Teasdale, The Bristol Do/ Bristol City Council

‘Fried Gold has created a fantastic and original piece of street theatre called ‘The Walrus and Carpenter’. It cleverly uses newly created songs, engaging characters, mixed with physical theatre and fantastic costumes to bring an imaginative piece of theatre to the streets. I highly recommend their work.’
