Tanya Cusan-Espinosa - a multifaceted performing artist, with a variety of skills that range from theatre and dance to singer, puppeteer and maker. Inspired by her Colombian roots and artistic background, Tanya brings to life incredible characters, introducing the audience to some amazing mythological creatures inspired by Latin American culture and her mother's stories. She has introduced thousands of people not only to street theatre and dance but to Latin American culture. Her creations are a theatrical feast for the spectator’s eyes, filled with visual treats that open up a world of endless possibilities. Tanya sings plays the guitar and speaks fluent Spanish, English and it’s well known in the North of England for introducing Salsa dance!
Alan Pergusey - is a UK based artist with a variety of skills that range from visual artist to maker and sculptor, he has collaborated on many projects with Cusan Theatre making a whole range of wonderful creatures and artworks, using all kinds of creative approaches and materials that respond to particular sites, and perhaps, most importantly they respond to the people that he collaborates with along the way to creates them. Alan's is also a superb painter, his paintings are held in numerous private collections in the UK and internationally. He is a director at Leeds Sculpture Workshop, a co-curator for Gallery 16, a pop up gallery and a visiting lecturer at the University of Leeds.
