People never forget an encounter with Oyster Opera. It’s not every day you are invited to waltz along to Verdi’s ‘Brindisi’, are pounced on by a man-mad mezzo, or are serenaded at close range by a beautiful soprano.
They perform 3 x twenty minute shows of famous operatic songs and duets, including Lakme’s ‘Flower Duet', ‘Sull Aria’ from Figaro, ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’, ‘Brindisi’, Carmen’s ‘Habanera’ and ‘Summertime’ from Porgy and Bess. They take their portable battery-operated system with backing tracks to the street and serenade passers-by.
They come as a duo or more and can also come with the Oyster Opera’s Gondola to traverse the lawns, paths or pavements. The Gondola comes with your choice of male or female singers.
